RTO Office

Regional Transport Office is the department of the Indian government, responsible for registering the vehicles and providing the driving Licenses to the owners of the vehicles in India.

The department of vehicle registration was established under the section of 213 (1) of the Motor Vehicles Act in the year 1988. This is the type of Central Act which is applicable all over the country and lead by the Transport Commissioner.

Before issuing the driving Licenses, the inspecting officer of the RTO inspect applications of the registration as well as checks the vehicles of the owners. At once after the completion of the inspection, inspecting officer issue the license. All the hardcopy of the applications are converted in to the soft copy by entering them in the computer. Then the computer system generates unique registration numbers to all the vehicles. There are no manual interventions in allotting the Registration Numbers, except for the reserved numbers. Municipal Corporation

The municipal corporation of any city or is an officially authorized office for the governing body and for the towns, townships, cities, counties, charter townships, villages, boroughs and etc as well.

When municipalities of the particular city or village develop into the self-governing entities by the laws of that particular state or province, it becomes the municipal corporation which is generally granted by awarding or declaring of a municipal agreement/charter.

Establishing a municipality (city or town) require a legal document like a city charter/town charter/municipal charter. The notion was first developed and expanded in the Europe in middle age which is regarded to be the municipal version of the constitution. The granting of the town or city charter become under the subordinate level of state or province government.

Responsibilities of the Municipal Corporation

Municipal Corporation of the city has the responsibility of maintaining sanitization of the city, offering health services, supplying water and electricity, administering the roads and markets, and most importantly the administration of good education. Development Authority

Development Authority plays a most significant role by planning and organizing the growth and development of the state, city through the strategic use of the available resources. Development Authority focuses on the particular activities such as the housing, planning, restructuring, managing housing colonies, developing commercial complexes, real estate development including the urban area development. Deployment authority gives priority to the Lower Income Group people and Middle-Income Group of the society in order to available them accommodation. Roles of the Development Authority

  • Carry out the training programs to improve the managerial expertise and technical skills required to efficiently perform all the activities.
  • Assist the voluntary organization that encourage the cooperative movements and provide help in upgrading the managerial and technical skill.
  • Development authority plan and implement their integrated and widespread plans or programs for the overall socio-economic development.
  • Record all cooperatives including their federations and unions, divisions, consolidations.
  • Set up the extension offices to carry out all the activities.
  • Assemble the reasonable fees and charges in association with the registration of cooperatives.
  • All the rules and guidelines are assumed by it in order to conduct internal operations.
  • An annual report of all the cooperative movements is submitted by it to the President and Congress.
