RTO Karnataka

Regional Transport Office of the Karnataka has been involved into issuing the RC-Extract for Vehicle and DL-Extract. This center also provides the B-Extract for vehicle which is required when owner wants to sell his owned vehicle. Karnataka RTO vehicle registration number begins with the KA letters (short form of the Karnataka).

All the Regional Transport Offices of the Karnataka has been brought under the territory of the Sakala/Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act in the year 2011 by the Government of the Karnataka in order to control the corruption as well as carry the precision in the department. The services offered by the Karnataka RTO offices to the citizens are as follows.

  • Issue the Learning License within 7 Days.
  • Issue the Driving License or Duplicate License within 30 Days.
  • Issue the Registration of Vehicle within 7 Days.
  • Issue the duplicate Registration Certificate within 30 Days.
  • Issue the Bus pass for the school children within 7 Days.
  • Issue the Free Bus pass for the Freedom Fighters within 15 Days.
  • Issue the Concession Bus pass for the physically challenged person within 15 Days.
  • Issue the Accident Relief within 30 Days.
